Please note, SHINE has wrapped up another wonderful year. To our 2019 graduates - we are so proud of you! We hope you keep learning, keep trying, and keep accomplishing!
Applications for our 2019-2020 school year will be available in August.
At SHINE Academics we do our very best to find a tutor for each student seeking support in his or her studies. Due to space limitations and the number of tutor volunteers, we ask that students fill out an application form. This gives us a better idea of how many tutors, tables, and kits will be needed, and allows us to ensure resources are available before guaranteeing seats. Priority is given to returning students, followed by first-come-first-serve.
Please make sure that you have read the student agreement below in full before submitting an application form, and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Fundraising Opportunities
Our organization relies heavily on the generosity and involvement of people like you, with every contribution going towards making SHINE Halifax great. SHINE is supported in a variety of ways. Whether it is through monetary donations, supplying snacks or learning resources, or volunteering your time, any help is greatly appreciated!
